Bette Blance
Master of Educational Studies ( University of Queensland)
Bette encountered the ideas of Dr. William Glasser, sparking great excitement within her. Invited to lead a program based on Choice Theory®, she embarked on a path that would transform her into a global leader and champion for this student-centered approach.
Bette's extensive experience as both a teacher and a deputy principal fueled her belief in Choice Theory's power. She witnessed firsthand the shift from a system of rewards and punishments to one that empowered students and fostered self-motivated learning. But simply using these philosophies wasn't enough for Bette. She wanted to share them with others.
Bette's dedication extends beyond the classroom walls. As chair of the William Glasser International Glasser Quality School committee, she connects schools globally, fostering a movement built on the principles of Choice Theory.
Bette offers Take Charge of Your Life and Collegial Choice Coaching as online workshops.

Ksenija Napan
Ksenija Napan,
RSW, MSocPsych, PhD, Associate professor at Massey University
Ksenija was born in Zagreb, Croatia and Aotearoa is her country of choice, a place where she learnt more about her culture and her Indigenous than during 33 years of living in Zagreb. In the late ninety eighties, she attended her first William Glasser workshop and in 1996 she became a senior faculty member for the International Institute and has taught in Croatia and New Zealand. The final stage of her choice theory education was supervised and assessed by William Glasser himself who noted in his evaluation of her work: “Ksenija, you do not only teach this stuff, you truly live it!”
Ksenija also provides professional supervision to social workers, counsellors and teachers and explores animal-assisted learning and therapy. She is also interested in bridging seemingly opposing polarities like science and spirituality, fun and learning, Indigenous wisdom and advancements of Western science, and human and other-than-human existence.
She is a hopeless optimist and provides basic, advanced and certification education in Choice Theory as well as short courses related to challenging issues in education, social work and other helping professions that can be co-created at your request.

Christine is an enthusiastic educator who discovered the teachings of Dr. William Glasser in 2004 and discovered a theory that gives insights into human behaviour and motivation
One of the key realisations participants in any Choice Theory training undergo is recognising that they can only control their own behaviour. Choice Theory training equips individuals with tools to resolve conflicts both with others and within themselves, leading to increased happiness and fulfillment.
Participants in any Choice Theory training are also taught a process to help them identify what they want, values are important to them and why they are so important.
In any Choice Theory training participants are also taught the skills of Lead Management. Being a lead manager, as opposed to being a boss manger, can lead to quality in output, relationships and well-being.
